This GTO-style 1965 Pontiac Tempest is finished in black over black upholstery and powered by a replacement 455ci V8 paired with a Muncie four-speed manual transmission.
The replacement 455ci V8 was sourced from a 1971 Pontiac, and it was bored 0.030″ over and rebuilt in 2010.
A replacement wiring harness was installed, and additional equipment includes a tri-power intake manifold, rebuilt carburetors, an aluminum radiator, ceramic-coated Doug’s headers, and a mandrel-bent 2.5″ Pypes exhaust system with Race Pro mufflers.
A Muncie four-speed manual transmission was installed in 2011, and the 10-bolt rear axle is equipped with 3.23:1 gears.

The exterior was refinished in black with red pinstripes following the replacement of the lower portion of the left-rear quarter panel.
