The 400ci Pontiac V8 was balanced and blueprinted by Pakes’ Engine and Machine and features a ram-air intake that feeds a single carburetor.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission with a Wilwood hydraulic clutch master cylinder.
Pontiac-branded rubber mats protect the matching loop carpets, and features include lap belts for all occupants, a locking glovebox, opening front 3/4 vent windows, and an aftermarket push-button radio wired to a single speaker in the front of the cabin and two speakers in the rear parcel shelf.
A wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and combination gauges.
The five-digit odometer was reset during the refurbishment and now shows 6k miles, though total mileage is unknown.
