This 1965 Pontiac Catalina 2+2 Sport Coupe is finished in Montero Red over Parchment vinyl upholstery, and power comes from a replacement HO 421ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes a tri-power intake manifold and carburetors, 14″ Hurst wheels, power-assisted drum brakes, power steering, a center console, a factory tachometer, and a push-button AM radio.

The replacement HO 421ci V8 was rebuilt as part of the refurbishment and breathes through a tri-power intake manifold and carburetors.

Additional work completed has consisted of cleaning the fuel tank, rebuilding the radiator, and replacing the fuel lines, coolant hoses, spark plug wires, spark plugs, and ignition system.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission and a Safe-T-Track 3.08:1 limited-slip differential.

Refurbishment work has included rebuilding the transmission and rear axle, replacing the driveshaft U-joints, and balancing the driveshaft.

The car is finished in Montero red and chrome trim adorns the front and rear bumper, door hardware, grille, headlight surrounds, and rocker panels.

Other features include a driver-side mirror, “Hurst Equipped” and “2+2” badging, fender vents, and dual exhaust outlets.

The headlight surrounds and bumpers were re-chromed as part of the refurbishment.

The polished 14″ Hurst five-lug wheels wear red-line Firestone Super Sport tires.

Factory equipment includes power steering and power-assisted four-wheel drum brakes.

The suspension and brakes were refreshed using replacement drums, lines, bushings, ball joints, and KYB shocks.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Parchment vinyl with a matching headliner and door panels.

Equipment includes lap belts for the front occupants, a center console, a glovebox, manually-operated windows, vent windows, an ashtray, and a push-button AM radio.

Interior work completed during the refurbishment included replacing the headliner, carpets, seat covers, seat foam, door panels, dashboard pad, and weather seals.

The three-spoke steering wheel features a Pontiac-logo center emblem and fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a factory 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.

An analog clock along with gauges indicating fuel level and battery status are mounted in a cluster above the radio.

The five-digit odometer indicates 12k miles, total mileage is unknown.
