This 1965 Jaguar XKE is a Series I roadster that was completed on January 5, 1965.

The car was refurbished between 2021 and 2022 by V-12 Motorsports.

Work have involved a repaint in dark blue over replacement dark blue leather upholstery as well as a rebuild of the 4.2-liter inline-six and overhauls of the four-speed manual transmission, suspension, brakes, and differential.

Equipment includes a black soft top, 15″ knock-off wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a stainless steel dual exhaust system, and a retro-style push-button radio.

Finished from the factory in Opalescent Golden Sand, the car is said to have been stripped to bare metal before receiving a repaint in Opalescent Dark Blue as part of the aforementioned refurbishment.

Exterior details include a black soft top with a matching boot, recessed headlights with clear covers, split chrome-finished bumpers, a louvered forward-hinged hood, dual side mirrors, and taillights mounted above the rear bumpers.

Chrome-finished 15″ wire wheels are secured via two-eared knock-off spinners and wear Cooper CS5 Grand Touring tires, while a full-size spare is stored below the trunk floor.

The car is equipped with a fully independent suspension, which was overhauled as part of the build.

The four-wheel disc brake system was also refreshed at that time with a replacement master cylinder, brake booster, rotors, and calipers.

Trimmed in red from the factory, the interior was reupholstered during the refurbishment and features low-back buckets seats covered in dark blue leather accompanied by a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets.

Lap belts are provided for both occupants, and additional appointments include a sliding rearview mirror as well as a retro-style push-button radio linked to speakers mounted on each side of the center stack.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset clock.

Auxiliary gauges are housed in the center stack above a row of toggle switches for vehicle functions.

The five-digit odometer shows 51k miles, total mileage is unknown.
