The Ford FE V8 features an 8C16 (August 1968) date-coded block and was rebuilt and the displacement increased to 432ci prior to installation.
The ECU was tuned by Performance Electronics, and work in 2020 included resealing the intake manifold and valve covers, updating the ECU firmware, and changing the oil.
Additional features included the following: Block bored to 4.080″, SCAT stroker kit with 4.125″ stroke, 6.700″ connecting rods, Diamond forged pistons, ARP head studs, rod bolts, and fasteners, Crane hydraulic roller cam and lifters, Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, Erson roller rockers, 13-row oil cooler with thermostat, Borla Eight-Stack fuel injection with individual throttle bodies, Performance Electronics PE-8400 sequential fuel injection and timing control, Ceramic coated tubular headers, side pipes, and heat shields, MSD Pro billet distributor, Aeromotive Stealth in-tank fuel pump and baffle system, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator with gauge, Double-pass radiator with two pusher and one puller fan.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed TKO-600 manual transmission and a Ford Traction-Lok limited-slip rear differential with 3.55:1 gears.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel features a Cobra-branded horn button and fronts a black upholstered dash that houses Auto Meter instrumentation including a reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges measuring oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level.
The five-digit odometer indicates 22k miles, total mileage is unknown.
