The 331ci stroker V8 was sourced from Engine Factory of Lebanon, New Jersey, and features FiTech electronic fuel injection, an Edelbrock intake manifold, Edelbrock heads, a Comp Cams camshaft, and a Cobra-branded air cleaner and valve covers.Service in preparation for sale included adjustment of the timing, an alternator overhaul, and an oil change.Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and an 8.8″ rear end.The wood-rimmed steering wheel features a Shelby-branded horn button and frames a 160-mph speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer.Additional instrumentation is mounted in the center of the dash, including gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage.The digital odometer shows 2,200 miles.
