This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was produced in March 1965 and is powered by a numbers-matching fuel-injected 327ci L84 V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission.
The 327ci L84 V8 came equipped with Rochester Ramjet fuel injection, mechanical lifters, and a high-lift “30-30” camshaft and was rated at 375 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque when new.
The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end with a 3.55:1 final gear ratio.
The A.O. Smith–produced fiberglass body was finished from the factory in Nassau Blue (FF) and was repainted.
Features include a white soft top, retractable rotating headlights, functional front-fender brake vents, bright rocker-panel trim, wraparound split bumpers, backup lamps, and dual exhaust outlets exiting through the rear valance.
Turbine-style 15″ wheels are fitted with three-eared knock-off nuts and BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires.
The car is equipped with an independent suspension and disc brakes at the corners.
The interior features seats and door panels trimmed in white vinyl with a contrasting blue dash pad, console, carpeting, and lap belts.
The center stack houses a clock, ventilation controls, and a vertically mounted Delco AM/FM radio.
A three-spoke woodgrain steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery status, and fuel level.
The five-digit odometer shows 570 miles, true mileage is unknown.
