This Backdraft Racing RT4 Roadster is a Shelby Cobra replica that was assembled in April 2021.
The fiberglass body is finished in Manhattan Green with black center stripes, and power is provided by a Roush Performance-sourced 427R V8 paired with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission.
Additional equipment includes an Edelbrock intake manifold and MSD ignition as well as 18″ Halibrand-style knock-off wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, quick-jack bumperettes, side exhaust pipes, a Kenwood CD stereo, Alpine speakers, and tan leather-upholstered bucket seats equipped with Sabelt safety harnesses.
The fiberglass bodywork is finished in Manhattan Green with black center stripes and features a hood scoop, a left Raydot-style mirror, a roll hoop, a LeMans-style fuel cap, front fender vents, wind wings, side-exit exhaust pipes, Ford 427 emblems, and quick-jack bumperettes.
Halibrand-style 18″ wheels with knock-off spinners retained by safety wire are mounted with 245/40 front and 295/40 rear Nitto NT555G2 tires.
Braking is provided by four-wheel discs, and coilover suspension components are fitted up front.
The cockpit features low-back bucket seats trimmed in tan leather, joined by a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels.
Appointments include optional “big and tall” seats and dropped foot box, a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror, Sabelt four-point harnesses, a trunk-mounted Kenwood CD stereo, and an Alpine amplifier and speakers.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel with a Backdraft Racing center cap sits ahead of AutoMeter instrumentation consisting of a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.
The digital odometer indicates 2,000 miles.
