This 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint convertible was built in October 1963, it is finished in white with a power-retractable black convertible top over a red interior and is powered by a 260ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes rear air shocks, American Racing Torq Thrust 15” wheels, an aftermarket dual exhaust system, a tachometer and vacuum gauge, and an Audiovox push-button AM/FM radio.
The 260ci V8 was shared with the contemporary Ford Fairlane and sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
A replacement four-barrel carburetor was installed in 2019, and additional maintenance performed around that time included cleaning the fuel system and replacing the fuel filter.
An oil change was performed in the last 100 miles and the battery was replaced last year.
A replacement exhaust system was installed in 2019.
Finished from the factory in Wimbledon White (M), the body was repainted approximately 25 years ago while the power-retractable black vinyl convertible top was replaced during the mid-2000s.
Exterior features include chrome bumpers and trim, a hood ornament, and a driver-side mirror.
Staggered-width 15” American Racing Torq Thurst wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial tires that measure 205/60 up front and 225/60 out back.
Braking is handled by drums at all four corners, and rear air shocks have been installed.
The interior is trimmed in red and features vinyl front buckets and rear bench seats along with matching carpets, which have been replaced around 15 years ago.
Amenities include lap belts, an Audiovox push-button AM/FM radio, Kinematix volume and reverb controls, and dash-mounted tachometer and vacuum gauges.
A three-spoke steering wheel with a Falcon Sprint center cap frames a horizontal 100-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level.
The five-digit odometer shows 73k miles, total mileage is unknown.
