The numbers-matching 409ci V8 was rated at 425 gross horsepower when new and have been rebuilt and balanced by drag racer Steve Carbone.

The engine features two four-barrel carburetors under a dual-snorkel air cleaner, an aluminum intake manifold, and chrome scalloped rocker covers.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.

A dual exhaust system exits under the rear bumper.

The car has been refinished in black over a black interior, and additional equipment includes an aluminum intake manifold, a dual exhaust system, a floor shifter, and steel wheels.

The bumpers were also rechromed, and the window felts have been replaced.

Black-painted 14″ steel wheels wear polished hubcaps and are mounted with BFGoodrich Silvertown bias-ply tires.

The car is equipped with unassisted steering and brakes.

The interior has been refurbished in black and features front and rear bench seats trimmed in vinyl with patterned fabric inserts.

Additional equipment includes a floor shifter with a reverse lockout handle and cueball knob, a heater with a defroster, and a factory-style AM radio.

Instrumentation is made up of a horizontal-sweep speedometer, a tachometer mounted on the steering column, an analog clock, warning lights, and a five-digit odometer showing 29k miles.
