The replacement 455ci V8 was built to displace 468ci and features an aluminum intake manifold, aluminum cylinder heads, a Holley carburetor, an MSD distributor and ignition controller, and braided stainless steel fuel lines. An aluminum radiator is installed, fluids have been serviced in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. A dual exhaust system is equipped with long-tube exhaust headers and DynoMax mufflers.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. A 7k-rpm Sun Super tachometer is mounted to the steering column, and AutoMeter gauges for water temperature and oil pressure are mounted above the AM radio.
The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 83k miles.
