The car is powered by a fuel-injected 327ci V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission, and was awarded Top Flight status by the National Corvette Restorers Society with a score of 94.0 in August 1995.

The 327ci L84 V8 features Rochester mechanical fuel injection and sends power to the rear wheels through a 4-speed T10 manual transmission and 4.11:1 rear end.

Cooling work included replacement of the fan clutch, radiator cap, upper hose, and thermostat as well as refurbishment of the coolant reservoir.
