The 1.8-liter inline-four was sourced from a later-model MGB and features five main bearings and a Moss Motors supercharger was installed.

The engine have been rebuilt in February 2020, and earlier work included replacement of the water pump, radiator, and clutch.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement five-speed Ford T9 manual transmission.

The three-spoke aftermarket steering wheel fronts a wood veneer dash that houses Smiths and Jaeger instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges measuring oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level.

The five-digit odometer indicates 5k miles, total mileage is unknown.
