The replacement four-speed manual transmission was installed in 1983 by Berrier and Beck Mercedes-Benz.
Originally finished in White Grey, the body was dissembled and refinished in Strawberry Metallic (543) in 2002.

Originally trimmed in red, the cabin was reupholstered by Mike Curley during the refurbishment and now features white leather bucket seats along with a matching dash pad, door panels, and center-facing rear “kinder seat.”

The ivory-color steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames VDO instrumentation including a 7k-rpm tachometer, a 140-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level.
The five-digit odometer shows 24k miles, and the total mileage is unknown.
