A body-off refurbishment was subsequently performed and included rebuilding the 283ci V8, repainting the exterior in Snowcrest White with silver coves, replacing the window glass and convertible top, replacing the tires, and refreshing the Signet Red interior.

The 283ci V8 have been overhauled during the refurbishment and fitted with a Duntov high-lift solid lifter camshaft, and it is also equipped with a pair of Carter four-barrel carburetors.

The block has been decked and restamped with a CU engine suffix.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a T10 four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction limited-slip differential equipped with 3.70:1 gearing.

Stress cracks were repaired in the fiberglass body before it was repainted in Snowcrest White with Inca Silver coves, and additional work included replacing the glass.

The Al Knoch Interiors-sourced white soft top, and additional details include a louvered hood, wraparound windshield, front and rear bumperettes, and dual exhaust pipes exiting out the rear bumpers.

Silver-painted steel wheels are equipped with factory-style spinner hubcaps and Coker whitewall tires that were fitted during the refurbishment, and a replacement bias-ply spare tire was fitted as well.

The interior houses bucket seats that were reportedly fitted with replacement foam and re-trimmed with Signet Red vinyl covers sourced from Al Knoch Interiors.

The dashboard pad, door panels, and carpets were also replaced, and an aftermarket Wonder Bar-style AM/FM radio was fitted in the metal dashboard.

The factory instrumentation have been rebuilt by Corvette Clocks By Roger, and includes a sweeping 160-mph speedometer along with a centrally oriented 8k-rpm tachometer flanked by gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure.

The five-digit odometer currently shows approximately 1k miles, with total mileage unknown.
