This 1957 Plymouth Fury was purchased new on June 24, 1957, and a two-year rotisserie refurbishment was completed in 2008.

Power comes from a numbers-matching 318ci V8 with dual four-barrel carburetors paired with a push-button Torque-Flite three-speed automatic transmission.

The Plymouth Fury was offered solely as a two-door hardtop in 1957, and all were finished in Sand Dune White with gold trim.

During the 2006–2008 refurbishment, this car was disassembled, put on a rotisserie, and repainted.

Brightwork and trim were also redone, the glass and weatherstripping were replaced.

Factory 14″ wheels with gold-accented chrome covers were mounted with new 8.00-section BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires.

The cabin has also been redone, and it features beige seating with textured cloth inserts complemented by brown carpeting and factory trim.

Factory switchgear and instrumentation have been retained.

Five buttons to the left of the steering wheel control the Torque-Flite three-speed automatic transmission.

Many Plymouth Furys from this era were special-ordered, and the dashboard plaque depicted above notes the original owner’s name.

The odometer currently indicates 87,293 miles, with true mileage unknown.

During the refurbishment, the numbers-matching 318ci “poly” V8 was disassembled and rebuilt.

The engine breathes through dual four-barrel Carter carburetors and produced 290 horsepower at 5,400 rpm when new.

Engine stamping #379922 matches the Chrysler production record below as original to the vehicle.
