The engine was rebuilt in June 2014 and reassembled with replacement cylinder heads, and was disassembled again in 2018 to install replacement rod bearings.
Additional features include a “batwing” dual-oil-bath air cleaner and Cadillac-script valve covers.
The carburetors were rebuilt and a replacement fuel pump was installed in 2019, and service performed in March 2021 included a replacement battery as well as checking and topping off the fluids.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission.
