This 1955 Jaguar XK140 MC roadster was manufactured on April 1, 1955.

A six-year refurbishment was completed in 2011, which included powder-coating the chassis, repainting the body in red, and reupholstering the interior in tan leather.

Power is provided by a numbers-matching 3.4-liter inline-six paired with a retrofitted five-speed manual transmission, and additional features include a black soft top, 16″ chrome wire wheels, and a stainless-steel dual exhaust system.

The 3.4-liter inline-six features double overhead camshafts and twin SU carburetors.

Service in October 2022 included replacement of the front crankshaft seal and the oil pan gasket as well as coolant and oil changes.

The engine block and cylinder head are stamped with G3002-8S, which matches the number listed on the data plate and on the Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a retrofitted Tremec five-speed manual transmission.

The differential lubricant was changed in October 2022.

Factory finished in Pacific Blue, the body was removed from the frame and refinished in red during the refurbishment between 2005 and 2011.

Features include a black soft top with a zip-down rear window, fender-mounted side mirrors, chrome bumpers and trim, and polished stainless dual exhaust outlets.

Chrome-finished 16″ wire wheels secured by Jaguar-branded knock-offs are mounted with 185-series Firestone Cavallino Sport 200 tires.

Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes, the brake master cylinder was refurbished and a brake fluid flush was performed in October 2022.

The interior was upholstered in blue from the factory, and was re-trimmed in tan leather with matching dashboard trim, door panels and carpeting during the refurbishment.

Amenities include protective floor mats embroidered with the Jaguar leaper, a passenger grab handle located on the dash, and storage compartments in the doors.

A four-spoke steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a reverse-sweep tachometer with an inset clock, and auxiliary gauges for amperage, fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature.

The five-digit odometer shows 28k miles, total mileage is unknown.
