This 1955 Ford Thunderbird have undergone a refurbishment that was completed in 2010 and is finished in black over a black and white interior.

Power is provided by 292ci V8 paired with a three-speed Fordomatic automatic transmission, and the car is equipped with a body-color removable hardtop, a white soft top, a 12-volt electrical system, power-assisted brakes, power steering, a power-adjustable bench, power windows, an AM/FM stereo, and an aftermarket air conditioning system.

The car left the factory finished in Raven Black, and refurbishment work included refinishing the car and re-chroming the bumpers and trim.

Equipment includes a body-color removable hardtop, a replacement white soft top, a “checkered flags” hood emblem, dual side mirrors, a fixed antenna, and dual exhaust outlets that exit through the rear bumperettes.

The 15″ wire wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires.

Stopping power is supplied by power-assisted drum brakes at each corner.

The cabin features a power-adjustable bench seat upholstered in black and white vinyl, and engine-turned trim accents the color-coordinated dashboard and door panels.

Power windows, a floor-mounted shifter, and a locking glovebox are equipped.

Modifications include the addition of hazard flashers, a quartz clock conversion, a Custom Autosound cassette stereo, and an aftermarket air conditioning system with vents mounted beneath the dash.

The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames an Astra Dial instrument cluster housing a sweeping 150-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature.

The five-digit odometer currently shows 41k miles, TMU.
