The powertrain swap was performed during a refurbishment in 1978, and additional equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes, independent rear suspension, dual exhaust outlets, American Racing wheels, a Hurst shifter, Summit Racing auxiliary gauges, and a push-button stereo.

The 350ci V8 is fitted with MSD ignition and sends power to the rear wheels through a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and a 3.31:1 rear end.

Service performed in preparation for the sale included an oil change, coolant flush, and replacement of the battery.

This example was refurbished in the late 1970s and is finished in Nutmeg Brown Metallic.

An aftermarket 8k-rpm tachometer with a shift light has been added to the steering column, while Summit auxiliary gauges for oil pressure and water temperature are mounted below the dashboard.

The odometer shows 15k miles, though true mileage is unknown.
