This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad is a two-door wagon that is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 mated to a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission and a Dana 36 rear differential assembly.
The car is finished in blue and ivory over a color-coordinated interior and features include a Jim Meyer Racing front suspension kit, power rack-and-pinion steering, a C4 Corvette-style rear suspension setup, adjustable coilovers, hydroboost-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, 17″ American Racing wheels, Vintage Air climate control, an oak cargo floor, power windows, Dakota Digital instrumentation, and a Custom Autosound digital stereo.
The body left the factory finished in India Ivory and Cashmere Blue (682) and have been repainted.
Features include a wrap-around windshield, side mirrors, sliding rear windows, a two-piece tailgate, “Bel Air” and “Supercharged” badging, and twin tail fins.
Chrome 17″ American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are mounted with Federal Courigia F/X tires measuring 225/60 up front and 275/55 out back.
The car rides on a Jim Meyer Racing front suspension kit along with a C4 Corvette-style rear suspension setup and adjustable coilovers.
The car is equipped with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, and braking is handled by hydroboost-assisted discs with drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners.
The wheels and brake rotors are said to have been installed recently.
The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in ivory vinyl with blue patterned vinyl inserts. Equipment includes blue loop-style carpeting, Vintage Air climate control, an analog clock, power front windows, Bel Air-branded floor mats, and a Custom Autosound digital stereo.
Oak floor panels have been installed in the rear cargo area, and an Optima yellow-top battery is mounted above the right frame rail.
The floor pan have been replaced.
The blue leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames a Dakota Digital VHX speedometer, tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.
A GPS module was installed and allows for expanded features on the instrument display.
The digital odometer shows 1,600 miles, true chassis mileage is unknown.
