This Austin-Healey 100S tribute car began life as a North American-market 100 BN1 roadster, the car was completed in 2015 and features an aluminum body that was fabricated by Cape International in England and painted two-tone white and blue.
Power comes from a 2,660cc inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission.
Equipment includes an aluminum cylinder head, an Austin-Healey 3000 rear differential, an aluminum radiator and fuel tank, a fold-down windshield, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, Weber 45 DCOE carburetors, disc brakes, 15″ wire-spoke wheels, and Lucas driving lights.
This BN1 was originally built on July 19, 1955 and has been fitted with an aluminum body from Cape International.
The shell is feature factory-style welds and bracing as well as an aluminum bonnet, doors, boot lid, and fenders and was painted in two-tone Old English White over Lobelia Blue by AJ’s Artworks.
Details include a fold-down windshield, a smaller grille opening with 100S badge, a Monza-style fuel filler, a side-edit exhaust, Lucas front fog lamps and side decals, and a louvered hood with a leather tie-down strap.
White-painted 15″ wire-spoke wheels are secured with two-eared knock-off nuts and wear 5.00″-wide Dunlop Racing tires.
Braking is handled by four-wheel disc brakes.
Bucket seats with ventilated backs are wrapped in dark blue upholstery with white piping.
Appointments include a passenger-side grab handle, a dashboard-mounted mirror, storage compartments in the doors, and latch-and-link lap belts.
A spare tire along with a battery and a cutoff switch are located behind the driver’s seat.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts replacement Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,400-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level.
The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 553 miles, though total mileage is unknown.
