This 1951 GMC 101-22 is a five-window half-ton pickup, the truck underwent a multi-year mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment beginning in 2012, and it is finished in green over burgundy vinyl upholstery.

Equipment includes a 228ci inline-six, a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission, chrome bumpers, running boards, a wooden bed floor, a six-volt electrical system, and an AM radio.

The body was refinished in green with brighter green pinstriping as part of the aforementioned refurbishment.

Features include five windows, chrome bumpers, black side mirrors, vent windows, a wooden bed floor and side boards, and running boards.

Bright-green 16″ steel wheels feature chrome trim rings and GMC-branded hubcaps and are mounted with 6.50-series bias-ply Firestone Deluxe Champion tires.

A matching spare is positioned under the bed.

Work in December 2021 included rebuilding the steering box and adjusting the left-front wheel cylinder.

Braking is handled by drums at all four corners, and a dual master cylinder has been installed.

The cab features a gunmetal-finished dashboard and door panels plus a burgundy vinyl bench seat with color-coordinated door-panel inserts.

Equipment includes a heater, an AM radio, vacuum-operated windshield wipers, rubber floor mats, sun visors, and a locking glovebox.

The brake- and clutch-pedal pads were replaced in 2023.

A six-volt Optima Redtop battery is accessible beneath the passenger-side floorboard.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames an 80-mph speedometer and a combination gauge for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 1,600 miles, which eflect the distance accumulated since the refurbishment.

Actual mileage is unknown.
