The replacement 216ci straight-six have been sourced from another 1950 Chevrolet pickup and features a 12-volt electrical conversion with an alternator.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission, which was inspected along with the stock differential.

The frame has been powder coated, and the fuel tank and sending unit have been replaced.

The maroon and black finish was applied using PPG Deltron 2000 paint following metal repairs in the cab, fenders, and hood.

Additional work included installation of a new grille, bumpers, emblems, and a reproduction wood-floored bed from LMC Truck.

The five-digit odometer was reset during the refurbishment and shows fewer than 100 miles, TMU.
