This 1949 Oldsmobile Futuramic 98 convertible is finished in red over red and tan vinyl upholstery and powered by a 303ci Rocket V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission.
The 303ci Rocket V8 is equipped with a two-barrel Rochester “turtleback” carburetor and was factory rated at 135 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque.
The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt, the rear axle seals were replaced at that time.
The body was repainted and the soft top replaced as part of a refurbishment, equipment includes rear fender skirts, “Futuramic” badging, a split windshield, dual side mirrors, dual horns, and chrome trim on the bumpers, side moldings, light surrounds, grille, and window surrounds.
The body-colored 15″ wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are fitted with Coker Classic wide-whitewall tires.
A full-size spare tire is mounted in the trunk.
