The car underwent a multi-year refurbishment and modification by Norm Francis Street Rods, that completed in 2009.
It features a 4.6-liter Northstar V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission as well as a Fat Man Fabrications Mustang II Stage 4 heavy-duty independent front suspension, an air ride system with Firestone airbags, power-assisted C4 Corvette disc brakes, a Corvette-sourced stall converter, a narrowed Ford 9″ rear end, cruise control, air conditioning, and a custom battery charging system.
The 4.6-liter, 32-valve Northstar V8 features an aluminum block and cylinder heads and was sourced from a 1995 Cadillac.
A custom fiberglass air cleaner and valve covers are installed, along with a Howell ECM, performance chip, and wiring harness.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit, a Corvette-sourced 2,200-rpm stall converter, and an engine-to-transmission adapter plate.
The rear axle is a narrowed Ford 9″ unit with a limited-slip differential and 3.73:1 gears.
The exhaust system features custom Norm Francis headers and Dynomax mufflers.
Bodywork was performed in the 2000s before the exterior was repainted in its current PPG triple black urethane finish.
Replacement glass was installed, the brightwork was re-chromed, the aluminum trim was polished, and SoffSeal rubber components were fitted.
The fuel filler cap is hidden beneath the left taillight, while the right hides a 12-volt plug for the onboard battery charging system.
Custom 15×6″ wheels were manufactured by Stockton Wheel and are mounted with Coker wide whitewall radial tires that were installed in December 2020.
Suspension modifications include a Fat Man Fabrications Mustang II Stage 4 heavy-duty independent front suspension with tubular control arms, a four-link rear setup, front and rear sway bars, and an air ride system with Firestone airbags at all four corners.
Stopping is handled by power-assisted C4 Corvette four-wheel discs, and replacement power steering seals were installed in 2020.
The power-adjustable front bench, rear seats, and door panels are trimmed in maroon leather, and black Mercedes-Benz carpets are fitted.
Amenities include a Vintage Air HVAC system, power windows and locks, a factory radio modified with modern internals, and custom stainless steel door panel trim.
The car runs on a 12-volt electrical system.
The leather-wrapped Lecarra steering wheel is mounted on a tilt steering column ahead of factory instrumentation including a 110-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, water temperature, voltage, and oil pressure.
The gauges and factory clock were reportedly rebuilt with modern internals to work with the replacement engine and 12-volt electrical system.
Just over 2,100 miles are shown on the five-digit odometer.
Total mileage is unknown.
