This 1947 Studebaker M5 pickup have undergone a refurbishment within the last five years and is powered by a 169ci inline-six mated to a T5 five-speed manual transmission.

The truck has been repainted blue with black fenders over black vinyl upholstery, and features include a fiberglass bed with a storage box, a 12-volt electrical system, front auxiliary lamps, chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, and blue-painted steel wheels.

The 169ci L-head Champion inline-six is reported to have been rebuilt some time ago and is equipped with an aluminum cylinder head. The engine is topped with a single carburetor with an oil-bath air cleaner, and the electrical system has been converted to 12-volts.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a replacement T5 five-speed manual transmission and a 4.10:1 final drive ratio.

The truck was repainted its current shade of blue with black fenders the glass has been replaced and the brightwork re-chromed.

Exterior details include a fiberglass bed that houses a storage box, as well as front auxiliary lamps with yellow lenses and dual side-view mirrors.

Blue-finished steel wheels wear chrome trim rings and Studebaker-branded hubcaps, and they are mounted with Coker Classic whitewall tires that were Installed around 500 miles ago.

A two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a body-color metal dashboard housing a horizontally-oriented 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges.
