This 1935 Ford Model 48 is a three-window coupe that was purchased in 1936, and the car has been refinished in Wimbledon White over a custom two-tone cloth interior, and power comes from a later 239ci flathead V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission.
The replacement 239ci flathead V8 was installed, and wears 8BA cylinder heads indicating a 1949-1953 production date.
Modifications include dual Stromberg carburetors, an alternator, an MSD distributor, a spin-on oil filter, a fuel pressure regulator, and an aluminum radiator.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed manual transmission.
Originally Palm Beach Gray, the car was repainted in Wimbledon White.
The car retains its factory steel body panels, and equipment includes chrome bumpers, running boards, dual windshield wipers, aftermarket front turn signals, and an upholstered trunk.
Orange-painted 16″ wire wheels wear chrome V8 hubcaps and Coker Classic bias-ply whitewall tires, with a matching spare mounted above the rear bumper.
Dual chrome exhaust tips were installed.
The interior has been reupholstered in two-tone brown cloth with matching carpets, and the seat is embroidered with the Ford V8 logo.
A modern stereo with satellite radio and Bluetooth is fitted below the steel dashboard, and a “Hotrod” badge is affixed to the glovebox door.
A leather-wrapped banjo steering wheel is mounted to a chrome tilt steering column and frames a polished gauge cluster with brass-ringed Dolphin instruments.
Just under 800 miles are shown on the six-digit odometer, with total chassis mileage unknown.
