The 327ci Chevrolet V8 was built by Gil Davis Race Engines, and features dual Rochester four-barrel carburetors, Corvette-branded valve covers, and coated “rams horn” exhaust manifolds. Dual exhaust pipes lead to parallel crossover mufflers concealed by a louvered cover. The polished radiator support rods are tucked into recesses in the cowl that follow the character line, and rotating bars with semicircular clamps secure the top hood panels. The cooling fan shroud is painted to match the body.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Deltrans 200R4 four-speed automatic transmission linked to a Winters banjo rear end.
The steering wheel is custom and frames a 100-mph speedometer with inset gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature.
The six-digit odometer shows 343 miles, which represent the distance added since completion of the build.
The trunk has been tubbed and trimmed to match the cabin.
