The replacement 302ci V8 was installed and is equipped with a chrome thermostat housing, air cleaner, and valve covers. The fuel system was rebuilt using a reproduction tank as well as a replacement fuel sending unit, low fuel sensor, gaskets, and hardware.Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed C4 automatic transmission that was rebuilt.The Deluxe Marti report shows a build date of July 26, 1968, along with factory colors, equipment, production statistics, and initial delivery to O’Connor Lincoln Mercury.An aftermarket Cougar-branded steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.The five-digit odometer shows 30k miles, true mileage is unknown.
