The car’s chassis number indicates that it was originally powered by a 390ci V8.Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a 9″ differential. The dual exhaust system utilizes MagnaFlow mufflers and an intermediate X-pipe, and subframe connectors have been adapted. The wood-rimmed steering wheel has a GT500 center badge and frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a clock, and gauges for fuel level and water temperature. Pro Comp gauges for water temperature and oil pressure are positioned ahead of the shifter. The five-digit odometer shows 1,300 miles, which reflect the distance accumulated since completion of the refurbishment; true mileage is unknown.
