The 2.8-liter M130 inline-six was factory equipped with Bosch fuel injection, and it produced 195 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque when new. A replacement front crankshaft seal was installed in March 2020, at which time the fuel pump was rebuilt. The spark plugs and ignition points were changed in January 2023, while the fuel pump was repaired in February 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Replacement shifter bushings were fitted in September 2014. The clutch master and slave cylinders were replaced in April 2021, while the clutch disc, pressure plate, and throw-out bearing were changed in December 2022.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring, and it frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature.
