The replacement 540ci iron-block V8 was built by Muscle Motors. Features include Crane pushrods, ARP hardware, and a Melling oil pump in addition to aluminum cylinder heads, a Speed Demon carburetor, Muscle Motors–branded valve covers, MSD ignition, long-tube headers, and a Be Cool aluminum radiator. An oil change was performed in preparation for sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through an A833 four-speed manual transmission and a narrowed Currie Enterprises 9″ rear end with 3.90:1 gearing. The rear end was installed, at which time a McLeod Racing clutch was fitted along with a Wilwood hydraulic clutch master cylinder. A custom-fabricated exhaust system featuring an X-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers terminates ahead of the rear axle.

Build receipts and documentation from parts purchases are included in the sale.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer with auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, alternator status, and oil pressure. An AutoMeter Street Tach tachometer is positioned to the left of the steering column, and Stewart-Warner readouts for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amperage are located below the dashboard.

The five-digit odometer shows 54k miles, total mileage is unknown.
