The replacement 428ci V8 was installed and features an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, four-barrel carburetor, and black air cleaner assembly as well as chrome valve covers. The oil was changed and the underhood pad was replaced in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission, which was retrofitted in place of the removed automatic unit.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer along with gauges for battery charge and fuel level. Aftermarket gauges for oil pressure and water temperature are mounted below the dash.
The five-digit odometer shows 23k miles, though total mileage is unknown.
