The 427ci R-code V8 is fed by dual four-barrel carburetors and features a finned air cleaner assembly, chrome valve covers, and exhaust headers. Work consisted of replacing fuel system components, rebuilding the carburetors, and installing a starter cable, hoses, and electronic carburetor chokes. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission, a custom driveshaft, and a Currie Enterprises 9″ housing, third member, and axles. The clutch was replaced and the transmission and rear differential were resealed.A dual exhaust system with Xlerator mufflers has been installed.A spare driveshaft, rear axle center section, wheels and tires, and brake components accompany the vehicle.The front and rear bench seats are trimmed in black vinyl upholstery and joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a Hurst shifter, an electric clock, bright door sills, lap belts, and a push-button AM radio. A fire extinguisher is mounted below the glovebox.The three-spoke steering wheel features a semi-circular horn ring and frames a 120-mph speedometer flanked by gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Autogage instrumentation is located below the center of the dashboard.The five-digit odometer shows 81k miles.
