The 426ci Hemi V8 utilizes a replacement engine block that was installed decades ago the engine was rebuilt in the 1980s. Electronic ignition was installed, the gaskets and valve seats were replaced, and oxygen bungs were added to the dual exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission and a Sure-Grip limited-slip differential. The transmission was rebuilt and the differential bearings replaced.
The front bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl, and interior appointments include an AM radio, a cabin heater, and lap belts.
