The high-voltage lithium-ion battery sends power to all four wheels through an AC induction motor up front and an AC permanent-magnet synchronous motor at the rear. Both motors are liquid-cooled and have a final drive ratio of 15.02:1. Range is estimated by the factory at 340 miles, and towing capacity is rated at 11,000 pounds.
A J1772 charging adapter will accompany the truck along with a mobile connector, a removable sunscreen, floor mats, a front license plate bracket, and an owner’s manual.
The heated and ventilated front seats are trimmed in black with white piping, and the Foundation Series specified white upholstery on the dashboard and door panel inserts. Other appointments include an 18.5″ front touchscreen, a 9.4” rear touchscreen, a 15-speaker sound system, heated rear seats, wireless charging pads, USB ports, and 110-volt power outlets. Protective film remains on the sill plates, which feature stack-of-dimes Cybertruck logos.
Each of the two spokes on the oblong steering wheel is equipped with buttons and scroll wheels in place of traditional control stalks. The driver is aided by Full Self-Driving capability, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and emergency lane departure avoidance.
The digital odometer indicates 26 miles.
