The 1.8L inline-four was sourced from a later model MGB and have been refurbished in 2004 and bored .040″ over.
A Kent street camshaft, Crane pushrods, a ported and polished cylinder head, and a spin-on oil filter have been installed.

The five-digit mechanical odometer was rebuilt in 2020 and shows 64k miles, total mileage is unknown.
