The 455ci High-Output V8 was rebuilt in 2010 and work consisted of machining the engine block, overhauling the cylinder heads, rebuilding the Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor, and repainting the engine block, cylinder heads, and intake manifold.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Muncie M22 four-speed manual transmission. The transmission, rear axle, and driveshaft were rebuilt during the 2010 refurbishment. A replacement dual exhaust system has been installed.

The Formula steering wheel frames rally instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer with an inset clock, and a combination gauge for oil pressure and water temperature. Additional readouts for fuel level and voltage are mounted in the center of the dash.

The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 73k miles.
