The 428ci V8 with an FE block was installed and features blue-painted valve covers with Mercury lettering.
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a rebuilt three-speed C6 automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case.
It was refurbished with work including fitting a replacement chassis from a 1978 Ford F-250 and installing a replacement engine and transmission as well as power disc brakes, larger axles, a 4″ Rough Country suspension lift, chrome 17″ wheels, and mud-terrain tires.
The body been removed from the frame prior to a repaint in red.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges.
