The 226ci “Super Hurricane” inline-six is mounted between the seats and powers the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case.
The engine was rebuilt during the refurbishment, and new gaskets along with replacement oil and temperature sensors were installed.
Instrumentation includes a 90-mph speedometer with nested temperature and fuel-level gauges.
