The GM 4.3-liter V6 was was installed in place of the factory inline-four during the build and is fitted with an Edlebrock intake manifold topped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor.
Further additions include a 15-gallon fuel tank sourced from a Jeep model, a Champion aluminum radiator fitted with an electric fan, and shorty-style headers linked to a single exhaust system.
Power is routed to the rear, the front, or all four wheels through a B&M-sourced 700R4 automatic transmission, a Dana 300 dual-range transfer case, an open Dana 30 front axle, and a Dana 44 rear axle equipped with an Auburn Gear limited-slip differential and 3.73:1 gearing.
Replacement Isspro gauges are mounted in a fabricated metal bezel and include an 80-mph speedometer and a six-digit odometer indicating 15k miles have been driven since completion of the build.
