The car is powered by a 402ci big-block Chevrolet V8 paired with a four-speed Muncie manual transmission and is finished in purple over white vinyl upholstery.

The 402ci Chevrolet V8 was sourced from a 1972-model car before being overhauled by Butch Smith Automotive Machine Shop and installed in 1996.

The engine has been fitted with an Edelbrock carburetor and dual-plane intake, an MSD electronic ignition system with a Mallory dual-point distributor, Sanderson exhaust headers, a Walker radiator with a 160-degree thermostat, and a Comp Cams camshaft.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a Muncie four-speed manual transmission paired with a Ford eight-inch differential with a 3.50:1 final drive ratio.

Hays components including a clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, and scatter shield have been installed, and the hydraulic clutch system has been fitted with a Wilwood slave cylinder.

The Downs Industries fiberglass body features a chopped roof along with a steel hood and hood sides and is finished in House of Kolor Violet Pearl.

Exterior touches include dual exhaust outlets as well as chrome side mirrors and door handles.
