This 1931 Ford Model A pickup was built as a hot rod in 2014 using a steel Brookville Roadster body and a So-Cal Speed Shop chassis.

The truck is finished in black over a caramel interior, and power is provided by a 350ci Chevrolet V8 paired with a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission.

The body features custom gold pinstriping, a 1932 Ford grille assembly, a wood bed with polished slats, and a removable black Carson-style top. Additional equipment includes Wilwood front disc brakes, a Lokar shifter, coated Sanderson exhaust headers, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley four-barrel carburetor with electric choke, chrome-plated suspension and steering components, and a 4.56:1 Ford 9″ rear axle.

The 350ci Chevrolet small-block V8 features an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and a Holley four-barrel carburetor with an electric choke.

Additional equipment includes an electric cooling fan, a billet distributor, a chrome alternator, a chrome water pump and upper radiator pipe, a high-torque starter, and ceramic-coated Sanderson headers feeding into a custom coated dual exhaust system.

Maintenance in 2023 included an oil and filter change and a new battery.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a GM 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a 4.56:1 Ford 9″ rear axle.

The steel Brookville Roadster body is mounted to a So-Cal Speed Shop boxed steel frame and was finished in black as part of the 2014 build.
