This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was refurbished and modified with work consisting of refinishing the body in silver, re-trimming the interior using black vinyl upholstery, overhauling the suspension, and installing a 383ci V8 paired with a Muncie four-speed transmission.Additional equipment includes polished 17″ Boyd Coddington wheels, front disc brakes, subframe connectors, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Barry Grant Speed Demon carburetor, MSD ignition components, and long-tube exhaust headers as well as a cowl hood, a rear spoiler, a Hurst shifter, and a Memphis Bluetooth module.An oil change was performed in 2023.During the refurbishment in 2007, the car was stripped, placed on a rotisserie, and repainted Infiniti Liquid Platinum with Nissan Magnetic Black stripes following floor panel repairs and replacement of the quarter panels.The front subframe was also repainted black before being reattached to the body.Additional equipment includes chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, a cowl hood, a rear spoiler, window tint, and an SS-style grille.Boyd Coddington 17″ wheels are wrapped in 225/50 Ventus HRII front tires and 255/50 Ventus Sport K104 rear tires.The suspension was overhauled and multi-leaf rear springs were installed along with front 1.5″ drop spindles and subframe connectors.The power steering system utilizes a quick-ratio 1.5:1 lock-to-lock recirculating ball steering box.Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.The front bucket seats and rear bench were reinstalled during the refurbishment and are accompanied by a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting.Additional equipment includes a center console, a glove box, a Hurst shifter, simulated wood trim, SS-branded floor mats, and an inoperable JVC AM/FM/cassette stereo.A Memphis Bluetooth module has been added, the radio antenna has been relocated under the dashboard, and an Alpine amplifier is mounted beneath the passenger seat.The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a Tic-Toc-Tach tachometer with an inset clock.The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 50k miles, and the total mileage is unknown.
