This hot rod features a Brookville Ford Roadster-style steel body that is finished in gray and mounted to a custom boxed frame from Blackboard Hotrods.Power is provided by a 284ci Ford 8BA flathead stroker V8 fitted with a Navarro supercharger mated to a Tremec TKO 500 five-speed manual transmission and a Ford “banjo” rear end with 4.10:1 gearing.Additional features include a 1932 Ford solid front axle ahead of a Posies leaf spring, along with gas tube shocks, drum brakes, brown leather upholstery, a removable black soft top and side curtains, triple Stromberg carburetors, louvered engine covers, a raked windshield, and 16” steel wheels.The 1932 Ford-style Brookville steel body has been painted in a Porsche shade of Slate Gray and mounted to a custom boxed frame that was built by Blackboard Hotrods and features a pinched and bobbed front section.The louvered metal engine covers were sourced from Rootlieb Vintage Auto Sheet Metal, and additional exterior features include a raked tilt-out windshield, a removable black soft top with side curtains, black headlight buckets, and dual side-view mirrors.The black-finished 16” steel wheels wear black and chrome-finished hubcaps and are mounted with Excelsior Radial tires.Braking is via four-wheel drums sourced from a 1940 Lincoln.Suspension modifications included a 1932 Ford solid front axle mounted in front of a Posies transverse leaf spring, a custom 1934 Ford-style front crossmember, and a 1940 Ford transverse rear leaf spring and rear crossmember, in addition to gas-filled shock absorbers at each corner.The cabin houses a bench seat trimmed in brown leather upholstery along with matching door and side panels.The floors are lined with loop carpets with leather edging.A banjo-style steering wheel mounted to a 1939 Ford steering column sits ahead of a faux-wood metal dashboard with an engine-turned instrument display that houses an AutoMeter 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges.The five-digit odometer shows five miles.
