This 1973 BMW Bavaria was subsequently refurbished with a repaint in its original Golf, a re-trim of its black vinyl interior, and installation of a rebuilt M30B35 inline-six that is paired with a four-speed manual transmission.

Additional modifications included an Ireland Engineering billet camshaft, dual Zenith carburetors, Pertronix ignition, exhaust headers, 14″ Cromodora wheels, an Alpina-style front spoiler, Bilstein shocks, and lowered suspension.

The car is also equipped with a Petri steering wheel, a wood shift knob, a sunroof, air conditioning, and a push-button Blaupunkt AM/FM radio.

The car was finished in Golf (070) from the factory and was repainted in 2015, at which time the seals for the windows, doors, windshield, and sunroof were also replaced.

Features include an Alpina-style fiberglass front spoiler, chrome trim, yellow-tinted high beam lenses, a “tucked” rear bumper on custom brackets, and a single exhaust outlet.

The 14″ Cromodora wheels wear 205/70 Kuhmo Solus KR71 tires.

The suspension has been fitted with lowering springs, Bilstein shocks, and ST Suspension front and rear sway bars.

Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.

The cabin features seating surfaces trimmed in black vinyl upholstery with textured inserts and matching headrests, door panels, and floor mats.

Amenities include wood dashboard trim, air conditioning, a wood shift knob, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio.

The three-spoke 380mm Petri steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation that includes a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.

The five-digit odometer shows approximately 48k miles, the instruments were repaired and refurbished in 2017, and true mileage is unknown.
