This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is reported to be one of approximately 200 examples produced with an F-code 312ci V8 equipped from the factory with a Paxton/McCulloch supercharger.The car is finished in Starmist Blue with a dark blue soft top over Colonial vinyl upholstery and is equipped with a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive, power-assisted steering and brakes, a Dial-A-Matic seat, a digital AM/FM cassette radio, and rear fender skirts.The Thunderbird was revised for the 1957 model year with a reshaped grille as well as larger rear fins and taillights.This example was finished from the factory in Starmist Blue (F) and equipped with a dark blue soft top in lieu of a hard top.Exterior equipment includes dual side mirrors, glass wing windows, rear fender skirts, and dual exhausts that exit through the rear bumper.Chrome 14” wire wheels feature faux knock-off spinners and are mounted with BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires.A full-size spare is found in the trunk.Braking is through Swift Sure power-assisted drums at all four corners, and the car is equipped with Master Guide power steering.Pleated Colonial vinyl upholstery (XK) is accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and dark blue carpets as well as engine-turned trim.Equipment includes a heater, a Dial-A-Matic power seat, and a digital AM/FM cassette stereo.A three-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn ring frames a 140-mph speedometer and a 5k-rpm tachometer, as well as a clock and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature.The five-digit odometer shows approximately 3k miles, total mileage is unknown.
