This 1971 MG MGB roadster was modified between 2010 and 2013 with installation of a GM-sourced 3.1-liter V6, a Borg-Warner T5 five-speed manual transmission, and a Ford 8″ rear axle as well as a Chevrolet bellhousing, flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate.
Engine modifications includef a MegaSquirt II ECU, a Ford EDIS-6 control module and ignition coil pack, 3.4 SFI–style upper and lower intake manifolds, 19-lb/hr fuel injectors, a Magnaflow Y-pipe, and a BMC British Automobile aluminum fuel tank.
Additional equipment includes a black soft top, Ford Mustang–sourced 16″ wheels, Wilwood four-piston brake calipers, Classic Conversions Engineering coilovers, a custom dashboard, Speedhut gauges, a Mountney leather-wrapped steering wheel, Pontiac Fiero–sourced bucket seats, a Lokar gas pedal, an aluminum shift knob, a roll hoop, and aftermarket rear speakers.
The engine compartment was stripped, areas of rust were repaired, and it was refinished in red before installation of the Chevrolet S10–sourced 3.1L V6 in 2013.

Service carried out in preparation for the sale included replacing the spark plugs, reprogramming the ECU, and changing the oil.

The car was repainted in its current shade of red and features a black soft top. Additional exterior details include an MGB Mk 1 grille, shaved side-marker lights and side trim strips, reverse lights, chrome bumpers without overriders, a driver-side mirror, and triple windshield wipers.
A choke knob-style hood release handle is located under the left-front bumper.
Ford Mustang–sourced 16″ wheels wear Wilwood and MG center caps and are mounted with 205/55 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tires.
Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with Wilwood four-piston calipers.
Other equipment included Classic Conversions Engineering coilovers, polyurethane sway-bar mounts, a Chevrolet Corvette 1″ primary brake cylinder, and a proportioning-bias valve.
The suspension as lubricated, the ride height adjusted, and the brake-proportioning valve adjusted in December 2022.
The cabin features replacement bolstered bucket seats said to have been sourced from a Pontiac Fiero and covered with custom black upholstery with embroidered MG logos.
Other appointments include a Lokar billet gas pedal, an aluminum shift knob, a locking glove compartment, a black dash pad, a roll hoop, and aftermarket rear speakers.
A removed MG horn button is included in the sale.
A Mountney leather-wrapped steering wheel sits ahead of a custom-fabricated body-color metal dashboard fitted with Speedhut Legacy instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for monitoring coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, voltage, and air/fuel ratio.
The digital odometer indicates 8k miles, true chassis mileage is unknown.
