This 1961 Chrysler 300G coupe in finished in white over tan leather and comes from the last year of the finned letter-series Chryslers.Power comes from a 413ci V8 bored .030″ over and backed by a three-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission and a 3.54:1 rear end.The car is equipped with air conditioning, power windows, an AstraDome instrument panel, swiveling front seats with six-way power adjustment, leather buckets front and rear, and a rear defroster.The 413ci V8 features dual four-barrel carburetors mounted on long ram-induction intake manifolds and was rated at 375 horsepower from the factory.The engine have been bored .030″ over and balanced by a local racing shop during the refurbishment, and the transmission, rear differential, front suspension, and braking system were rebuilt.The carburetors, tack drive distributor, air-conditioning system, and power brake booster were rebuilt, and a new exhaust system was installed.The most recent maintenance was performed in June 2019 and included an A/C system and transmission service, new fluids, and an oil and filter change.Partial service records are included.The body was removed and dipped in an acid bath before a repaint in white was commissioned.Steel wheels with factory chrome hubcaps wear Goodyear radial tires.The chrome trim was refinished by D&S Plating Co. in Holyoke, Massachusetts.The red/white/blue medallion rear badge can be seen above, and “300” badging is present on both sides.The tan interior was refurbished with Goers leather seats, a new headliner, and new black carpets during the refurbishment approximately 20 years ago.Features include a full-length console, swiveling front seats with six-way power adjustment, power windows, air conditioning, a rear defroster, and a Golden Tone radio.Several new-old-stock interior components were supplied by JC Auto Restoration Inc. including a replacement AstraDome instrument panel with a 150-mph sweeping speedometer, “Panelescent” blue lighting, and integrated gauges for amperes, fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature.Other features include a console-mounted 6k-rpm tachometer and pushbuttons to operate the automatic transmission.The trunk compartment was fitted with replacement carpeting, and the chipboard inserts and instruction stickers remain intact.A spare steel wheel with a Goodyear whitewall tire is included along with a jack and a lug wrench.The six-digit odometer indicates 10k miles, true mileage is unknown.
